Inner-city regeneration projects are important to the life of Hamilton, and the Riverbanks project is a great example.

We have obtained a number of resource consents for Stark Properties for the re-birth of Riverbanks, as tenant occupancies were secured. Resource consents were secured for Riverbank Lane, the Mezz box, which in itself is an award winning piece of architecture and design, and the Rooftop extension.

‘Right to light’ and various other easements were a challenge to navigate, as was convincing Council that we wanted to put a large metal door into the front façade and that taking away a part of the front verandah was a good idea.

The professionalism and vision of the client and the architects were second to none, and being part of that team was an unqualified highlight.
