Louise Feathers / Director

Louise has over 20 years of experience working on a number of large and small scale projects mostly within the northern half of the North Island.

She has built a strong reputation with the local Councils and with clients in and around the Waikato area, and is known for getting the job done.

Louise’s strengths and passions centre around projects of Urban Design, especially around the inner city regeneration of Hamilton, as well as local Heritage planning, and she is a current member of the New Zealand Planning Institute.

Karen Hopkins / Subconsultant Planner

Karyn has over 15 years of experience in Environmental and Town Planning. With a Master of Science degree in Earth Sciences, and having worked for the former Auckland Regional Council, Waikato Regional Council and private consultancies she has insights into all aspects of the planning and resource consent processes at local and regional government levels.

This leads to a strong understanding of resource consenting requirements, and well developed relationships with a wide variety of professionals.

Jodi Gowers / Office Manager

Jodi joined the team in July 2015. She is responsible for the administrative tasks needed in order to keep the office running smoothly.

Charlotte Martynoga / Planner

Charlotte joined the team in 2018. Having completed her PhD in Environmental Planning at Waikato University, Charlotte brings with her strong analytical skills and a sound knowledge of environmental legislation and policy.

Her academic background is complemented by 6 years of professional planning experience gathered whilst working in the UK. Charlotte’s interests lie in Hazard and Risk Management particularly around flooding, coastal threats and climate change.

Charlotte is an Associate member with the New Zealand Planning Institute.

 

Louise and her team were great to work with and managed to do what we thought may have not been do-able. Very pleased with the outcome and the prompt and professional work by Feathers Planning.
